The Founder Factory is an annual event created by Philly Startup Leaders, meant to help foster growth of an ecosystem of entrepreneurs, mentors, angels, VC’s, students, schools and government groups within the Philadelphia area. As a collaborative and engaging event, the Founder Factor helps to unleash Philadelphia’s entrepreneurial potential.

 

Our Mission

To encourage collaboration within the Philadelphia startup ecosystem, where people starting companies are encouraged and supported by successful entrepreneurs and mentors from the venture capital and university community.

 



The Speakers Have Been Announced!

We are very proud to announce a great selection of experienced entrepreneurs who have experience and expertise in each of the topics being discussed at Founder Factory 2012. To begin and wrap our day, we welcome Michael Golden, President & Founder of ShopRunner and Josh Kopelman, Managing Partner of First Round Capital.  Joining them to talk about a variety of topics that every entrepreneur and startup need to examining are local entrepreneurs Stephen Gill, Heidi Gray-Devita, Tracey Welson-Rossman, Anita Garimella Andrews, Aaron McLean, and Cassandra Oryl.  In the afternoon, Joanne Lang, Lucinda Duncalfe, Bob Moore and Brendan Lowry will cover topics like Internal Metrics, Team Building and Developing a Company Culture.
